Mark BergerSaxophone
Mark Berger is the Motor City Jazz Orchestra's baritone saxophonist, in addition to the saxophones he plays the clarinet, bass clarinet, flute and bassoon. Mark studied music at Wayne State University and has been playing professionally in the Detroit area for nearly 28 years, performing frequently as a member of The Fisher Theater, Masonic Theater and Fox Theater Orchestras and periodically with The Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with some of the most respected names in the music industry including: Dizzy Gillespie, Milt Jackson, B.B. King, Cab Calloway and Doc Severinson. Recording credit highlights include J.C. Heard Orchestra, The Temptations, Four Tops, and Aretha Franklin. |
